From September 28 to October 5, 2020 at the Yuzhno-Priobskoye field drilling of a directional section with a horizontal end using the domestic rotary steerable system RSS-GM-195 developed by “BURINTEKH”, Ltd was successfully performed!

The total interval length was 1920 m (from 1560 to 3480 m). The well section was constructed without deviations from the design profile. The final inclination of the drilling interval was 85,75 degrees. RSS-GM-195 is the first rotary steerable system to drill specified interval.

RSS-GM-195 has no analogues in the world; more than 90% consists of Russian components. This system during the construction of a directional section with a horizontal end, according to the results of the seventh field trials at Gazpromneft-Khantos site, has shown its reliability and ease of operation.
