On March 5, the IV International Winter Games took place, which are traditionally held by the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University. At the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University stadium 24 teams competed in four races: schools, colleges, foreign students of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and employees of the university’s partner organizations. They had to throw a basketball into a hoop and then cross a 200-meter distance on skis.
This year, students from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan took part and the participants also included teams from Egypt, Yemen and the team from the African continent.
For the second year in a row, “BURINTEKH”, Ltd team is participating in the games. The leading engineer of the commercial department, Dinar Khusnutdinov, took part in the ski relay; the competition was curated by the director of international business department Ivan Pereverzin. As part of the distribution, our team had the honor of competing with the Kazakhstan team.
Partnership and unity brought the team a gold medal in the competition. The Ufa State Petroleum Technological University International Winter Games have once again shown that international partnership can begin on the student bench, that sport unites nations and continents!
