Casing Window Milling Kits

BURINTEKH offers most effective solutions for window milling in 140, 146, 168, 178 and 245 mm casings and sidetracking in one trip as tool kits Overhead and Overhead Hydro capable to mill a window both with and without cement plug. This considerably decreases well drilling time and cost.

All whipstocks and anchors designs provide smooth trip and reliable anchoring, excepting its turning or movement while milling. All mills provide high rates of penetration.

All Overhead Hydro kits supplied with pressure test sub PO for inner pipe surface conditioning, washing, descale and flushing sub PPSH for reverse circulation flushing before casing window milling.

Mechanical anchor

Designed for fixation whipstock in casing with support to bottomhole. Anchor design allows, if necessary, retrieving whipstock and anchor from the well. Anchor is multi-purpose and can be used in two casing sizes.

In contrast to Overhead one trip system Overhead Hydro does not require support on bottomhole (cement plug). Fixation of whipstock in casing is provided due to special hydraulic anchor, which activates under the effect of high liquid pressure created in pipes. Whipstock and window mill have special fluid drive providing transmission of hydraulic power to anchor. Other components are the same as for Overhead system.
