The range of polymer reagents BURINTEKH, Ltd is represented by polyanionic cellulose (PAC), polyacrylate polymers and amylase. These reagents meet requirements API 13A and are used for preparation drilling fluids BURINTEKH, Ltd.

ANIPOL VV

ANIPOL VV is high viscosity polyanionic cellulose (PAC) with high molecular weight.

Application

Purposed for stabilizing and controlling structural-mechanic properties and filtration characteristics of any drilling fluid systems on water basis with any salt load.

ANIPOL NV is high quality modification of polyanionic cellulose with low molecular weight.

Application

It is used for decreasing water loss of fresh, saline and salt-saturated muds. Promotes developing thin, compact, elastic and low permeability filter cake decreasing invaded zone.

SYNOPOL VV

SYNOPOL VV is the dry powder-like partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide/polyacrylate copolymer with high molecular weight purposed for formations stabilization which include unstable clays and slate stones. Stabilizing action is based on encapsulation of drilled formations and clays in wellbore walls preventing dispersion. It can act as mud thickening agent, flocculant, fluid loss reducing agent; it has weak lubricating ability. It dissolves well in fresh, lime and sea water and can be used for preparation muds which do not include solid phase.

Application

  • reagent is mostly used as component of polymer system «SKIF+», clay free and thin clay inhibiting systems
  • it has exceptional encapsulating properties providing high stability of wellbore. Normal concentration of reagent in solution varies from 2 to 8 kg/m3. It is effective in potassium chloride salt-saturated muds (requires concentration increasing)
  • it can be used in clay-free solutions as a thickening agent and clay encapsulator, especially during drilling small diameter wells and core recovery. Standard concentration rage in such solutions is 1.5-5 kg/m3
  • in thin clay systems in can be used as bentonitic extender, thickening agent and flocculant
  • while using it in loaded muds it helps improving quality of mud cake and decrease mud filtration
  • while drilling big diameter wells it is often used for preparation viscous packs for return coarse slurry. To prepare viscous pack it id enough to pour 3-4 liters of concentrated (30%) polymer solution to drill pipes during round-trip operations or during connection

SYNOPOL NV

SYNOPOL NV represents synthetic natrium polyacrylate polymer of medium molecular weight with considerable anionic charge distribution.

Application

  • it can be used in wide range water based muds including muds on the basis of fresh water treated by lignosulphonate, muds with low content of solid phase and loaded muds. Optimal effectiveness can be reached in fresh systems
  • reagent typically used as a component of polymer system «SKIF+», clay free and thin clay inhibiting systems
  • it is used fro decreasing mud filtration and effectively acts in wide range of geological conditions. During interaction of polymer and clay the firm and elastic cake is formed on wellbore walls which decreases mud filtration
  • it is effective in nondispersed muds with low content of solid phase. Molecule of sodium polyacrylate adsorbs on clay particles joining them together and creating net from polymer and clay on wellbore walls
  • at low concentrations reagent aspires to flocculate clay
  • at permanent addition in quantity of 1.4 kg/m3 the chargers of clay are neutralized and clay deflocculates. This phenomenon is most obvious in non dispersed systems where can be reached the best concentrations of gel and yield point

  • creates firm cake over the whole wellbore effectively decreasing mud filtration
  • stabilizes viscosity in non dispersed systems
  • provides stability of mud at high temperatures (up to 232°C)
  • provides low fluid loss in muds which require big quantity of water for dilution

MULTISTAR

MULTISTAR represents high quality modified starch used for controlling filter value in water based muds with any level of salt load.

Advantages

  • easily disperses in fresh water and salt solutions
  • unexposed to influence by dissolved salts up to saturation. Hydrates and swells providing control over filtration in all water based muds
  • decreases risk of damaging producing formation
  • stable at temperature up to 121°C
