This bit series is designed for drilling soft formations of I-IV category of hardness.

Due to maximum diameter of cutters and their aggressive arrangement drilling is carried out at high ROP.

Specially designed bit profile provides uniform wear and the most comprehensive tool run.

Optimally designed junk slot area prevents from creation of stagnation zones and accumulation of drilled cuttings.

Flushing nozzles are directed in such a way that bit cutting structure and maximally loaded zones are permanently flushed. Mud flow direction is chosen taking into account optimal correlation to volume of drilled rocks.

Appearance of Rotary Steerable Systems (RSS) allowed changing of traditional technology and increasing of techno-economic performance of well drilling.

One of the components of successfully carrying out drilling operations with use of RSS is a competent approach to selection of drilling tools capable to realize all the potential of this system. Special attention should be given in accounting for two main types of RSS according to method of bit displacement control relative to well axis:
1. «Push the bit» – radial displacement of whole assembly or its major part with respect to well axis;
2. «Point the bit» – positioning of bit is achieved by means of tilting drive shaft with respect to BHA.

Two different RSS types require widely different bit designs.

Lateral and axial loads are accounted for in the cutting structure’s gauge length and its aggressiveness. Cutting structure durability must correspond to RSS requirements.
